I am facing the "BFT Tool Failed to Check for New Version" error while opening BFT Tool v1.8 on my Windows PC. The internet connection is working normally, and websites open without any issue, but BFT Tool cannot connect to its update server.
I checked Windows Firewall, antivirus settings, VPN, and DNS configuration, but the issue still appears. I also noticed that some users reported similar problems related to update server availability, firewall restrictions, or missing Visual C++ runtime files.
